Assignment 3- Cloe Kennedy
Although I've never been out of the country, or many other states, travelling around Kentucky and neighboring states has shown me how every environment can be different. From accents to mannerisms, it is interesting to see how different communities are. Hearing about impoverished areas shows how blessed most people in America are, having all of our rights can be something we most definitely take for granted. The communities in Lexington are very diverse and booming while those in Georgetown aren't quite there yet, and could be seen as small and less complex. This doesn't even compare to the differences between Kentucky and Ohio or Tennessee. Cities in Ohio, such as Cincinnati, are far more compact with much packed into a smaller area and sometimes showing a less hospitable attitude. It's run on a more "every man for himself" idea rather than the small town hospitality i am used to. While in Tennessee, they have to protect their homes from bears, which would be an unordinary danger for someone living in New York, or even in Lexington. All in all, everyone is raised differently and it can be an important thing to remember not to judge someone, because yo never know what they came from.
