Assuming that these zombies are contagious and turn other people into zombies, my plan would start by gathering supplies. I would take stock of everything we have in our house then go raid the Kroger near my house as soon as possible. I would stock up on gas, canned foods, and guns. I would not travel anywhere, but rather stay at my house and kill all the zombies that come near it. I feel as though the zombies portrayed in movies, the slow and clumsy ones would be easily dealt with. In this scenario, I would form a zombie cleansing association and remove all zombies from Lexington with force. However, if the zombies are similar to beasts in the movie I Am Legend with Will Smith, it would be a whole different situation. In that sort of scenario, I would try and hide with my family in the most remote place possible, avoiding all contact with the zombies. Hopefully, living into old age until my death.
