Assignment 10 - Eli Flomenhoft

Zombie attacks have been the focus of the modern horror genre for many years. And while no one wants this apocalypse to come everyone and their mother has a survival plan. Here is mine.
Suppose brain-loving undead were to shamble into Lexington. What would I do? Where would I go? How would I get there? And how do I protect myself? First I would panic, contact everyone I know. See if my brothers are alright. Then I would do what everyone else would do, rush to the store in a frenzy and buy everything I thought was useful. That could range from canned food to a princess barbie makeup kit. I don't know what I would buy because my brain would be so addled with fear. Even if I made a list of needed supplies it is more than likely that I would be to out of it to obtain all of them. Furthermore I don't believe a zombie apocalypse would ever actually happen so I won't spend the money to gather these necessary materials before the apocalypse.
But suppose that I do gather the necessities and return home, my next course of action would be to obtain weapons. Using a hammer, wooden baseball bat, and some nails I would make the ultimate zombie killing weapon.
At the end of this scramble for weapons and food I would most likely meet up with some friends and ride out the apocalypse. And if you're asking yourself why I left my family, lets face it, the zombie apocalypse sounds way more fun to do with you're friends. What could be better than bashing zombies and raiding grocery stores for food? In the words of Ben Shapiro "Okay, this is epic."
Finally it is more than likely that the first zombie I try to take on with my baseball bat will eat my brains. I'm a middle class white boy with next to no fighting ability going up against superhuman undead. I made the wrong choice by not choosing to use a gun. So my skin would get ripped to shreds and my skull turned into soup for the zombies.
