Zombie attacks seem incredibly unlikely, but it's always good to have a plan, so here goes.
First things first, find my friends and family and head to a relatively safe location. Odds are, by the time we hear about the zombie outbreak. it will be in a certain location, and it will spread from there. So, head away from that location.
Second, gather supplies. Supplies is extremely vague, but that's kind of the point. We will need to grab things like water and food, because as more people get effected those things are going to become scarcer. Also, we'll needs weapons, which leads me to my third point.
This point is a little bit more difficult, but we'll need to desensitize ourselves from violence quickly. In order to survive a zombie apocalypse, you're going to have to be able to kill the zombies, regardless if they look like your friend or family member. In order to do that, you're going to have to get over the idea of killing someone pretty quickly.
The fourth thing we'll need to do is find a good first aid kit. Anyone who's seen the Walking Dead (I have seen one episode at the most, so not me) can tell you that people get injuries other than just zombie bites (or whatever they're called.)
To be completely honest, I'm probably forgetting something really important, and I'll read over this next week and realize that if a zombie apocalypse actually happened I'd be dead in a week. But, those are the basic steps of survival in a zombie apocalypse, so I would make my one week of survival a great one.
