Accomplishments: Having decent grades, maintaining my sanity in the past 6 months

Idiosyncrasies: Laughing too much, apologizing when I yawn
Risks: Speaking out on my opinion (This is a big step, I hate confrontation)
Beloved Possessions: Barbie dolls (then), friendships (now)
Problems: Procrastination
My sorrow is very uncommon. Thankfully, many people hardly ever experience the issue that is the justice system, especially when it relates to child services. This is one of the few things that I'm passionate about, and it bothers me every day how corrupt it is. I hate that there are children in broken homes and terrible situations, yet "nothing" can be done to help them. It bothers me to no end knowing that hundreds of kids in Lexington alone can't leave a harmful situation because the adults in power don't have the ability to help. I hope that one day I can make a difference in that field. This goes along with my dream to make a positive impact every day. You never know what someone is going through. If I am able to make one person smile or laugh, that could have a major impact on their day. I want to be as positive as possible, hoping to help others.
