The first thing I would want my college roommate to know is that unless properly motivated it hard for me to care about something. I would say that I care about academics and that I am motivated to do my best at academics. But this is due to the understanding the how I perform in high school affects the college I go to. And how I perform in college will affect what job I get and what career path I follow. So I want my college roommate to know that I am motivated for some things but it is hard to motivate me to do something I do not care to do. On another note I am quite friendly, maybe overly friendly. My college roommate needs to know this because I may start to tease him as if we are friends even if he feels we are not. This may seem like bullying but it is only me teasing someone I believe is my friend.
In the end I want my college roommate to know that I am hard to motivate for things I have no interest. And I also want them to know that I may be overly friendly, thus they should not take offense at any potential teasing.
