Grace Payne - Assignment 14

Thanksgiving has always been a favorite holiday of mine, mostly because right after it ends we start celebrating Christmas. (Anyone who has seen my Christmas stickers knows how much I love Christmas.) However, I also enjoy Thanksgiving because it's a great way to get together with family. Thanksgiving morning, my family and I go over to my grandparents on my mom's side. We eat, but it's mot much, since my grandma can't cook much, because she spends most of her time taking care of my grandfather who has Parkinson's Disease. Despite not having the classic Thanksgiving dinner, I still really enjoy spending time with them. We go back home for a few hours, and then we head over to my great-grandma's house. There, my grandma goes all out for dinner, and we have all kinds of food. I used to really enjoy the food, but every since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last December I haven't been able to eat any gluten, so no bread and I even have to watch out for glazes and sauces. However, again, despite not being able to eat much, the most important tradition we have in my family is getting together as a family. Also, the Dallas Cowboys play every Thanksgiving, so I always watch them play.
