Assignment 14- Cloe Kennedy
Before i give a tour of what my Thanksgiving is like, first i have to establish some family history. Both of parents grew up in Georgetown and 40 percent of my family has remained there to this day. Another 40 percent live within 30 minutes of my house. Now with that established i can begin the tour. In the morning (which is really around 2pm), i go to my moms side of the family in Georgetown for a late lunch. Later that night we go to my dads side of the family for dinner and by that time we are absolutely stuffed. I do enjoy the holiday, i obviously love eating, but i dont exactly feel as if i fit in with the rest of my family therefore i hang around my parents and make sure my brother limits his stupidity for the night. The most unique memory i have is chasing a turkey around my grandmas neighborhood, it was honestly quite scary.
