Assignment 15 - Oliver Fister

Anyone who knows me well knows I'm obsessed with dinosaurs, and have been since I was little. Everyone loves dinosaurs as a kid, of course - but I'm not just fascinated by Jurassic Park and plastic toys. In recent months, I've truly begun to develop this interest further, diving into the depths Wikipedia to further my knowledge, just for fun. There I discovered that everything about dinosaurs fascinates me, including the obscure scientific bits full of jargon that I'm quickly beginning to understand. I've been learning all about the cladistics, the taxonomy, the history, the fossilization process, the scientific accuracy (and inaccuracy) of life reconstruction, etc. It was when I found myself a few weeks ago, poring over my phone and a posterboard, pencil and markers in hand, drawing an extensive dinosaur evolutionary family tree, just for fun and my own enjoyment, that I realized I should even begin to consider this as a possible career. I could tell you anything about a certain dinosaur - show me a picture, and more than likely tell you what it is, what family or group it's from, when and where it lived, and everything wrong about the picture you're showing me, and I'll have a blast with it.
