Bhoomi Shah - Assignment 15

Something that makes me lose track of time and captivates my attention is the piano. Its a hobby that I just recently picked up; however, so far it has made a lasting difference in my day to day life. No longer do I come home bored or stressed out due to a lot of homework (okay that last one may be a stretch), because I have the option to sit down and let all my frustrations out through a gruesome rendition of jingle bells. Learning piano is difficult, but it's a challenge that I enjoy pursuing. As I become more accustomed to the various finger positions and notes, I feel as if I'm making small accomplishments on my way to proficiency. Playing the piano is fun, engaging, and the music that you produce if you play it correctly is beautiful. I wish to become proficient in piano to the point that I no longer choke on note changes or have to remind myself to hold a note for the correct duration of time. Until then, my piano teacher will just have to suffer through my abhorrent playing.
