Michael Bay is one of the best director and producer in the movie industry, and he is known for his explosive action movies (pun intended) and his edge of the seat thriller movies. One of his most famous action movies is Transformers. In this movie, the protagonist, a young man just out of high school discovers that his car Is an Alien who can transform from a car into a ginormous fighting machine. These two embark on an adventure to save earth from other hostile Alien fighting machines trying to take over earth. In contrast, Michael Bay's The Purge is a riveting thriller in which people try to survive a night in which all crime is legal. The genres of these two movies are different. The Purge is a thriller and Transformers is an action adventure movie. Both these movies are highly regarded in there respected genres showing the brilliance of Michael Bay.
