One thing that I want to do before finishing high school is to take a road trip either by myself or with a couple of friends. My favorite place to go would be the beach. Specifically driving around Miami in a speedy convertible and feeling the sand slowly wither away the bottoms of your feet and step in the ocean and have the waves brush against your ankles. The smell in the air and the wind in your hair, it’s a sensation combination like no other, maaaaan. Groovy.
I don’t really have a I’d love to be a high school band director. Music is another passion of mine, and I’ve been playing on any musical instrument I could get my hands on for as long as I can remember. I love playing my instrument and I enjoy the idea of sharing my love for music with younger musicians. Unlocking their passion for music would be my goal, as well as teaching them any life lessons on their four-year journey.
Finally, the one single thing that I want to do before I go onto the pearly gates is to restore a classic car. The apple of my eye, the jewel in the crown, the holy grail find would be 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback. These old classics are hard to come by, who knows how hard they will be to find 20, maybe even 30 years later. After blood and sweat, working in the shade under a portico while the sun beats down on the neighborhood around me. Eventually breathing new life into some old timer’s forgotten car that faithfully hauled them around in the ‘60s and ‘70s would be a dream come true. A passion project of true classic Americana.
