Assignment 24: Charlie Boone

Overall, junior year was a great year compared to sophomore year, but it was the most busy year of my life. Taking four AP classes was extremely difficult, and it was so difficult that I am opting out of one AP exam for the first time in my life. Also, the combination of extra circulars such as soccer, college searching, recruiting, and clubs was difficult to juggle. A risk that my friends convinced me to take was to join the swim team. Swimming? My sister swims d1, it is only two laps, you are pretty much floating. This should be a walk in the park. Wrong. I am the worst swimmer of all time, and it was a terrible decision. After maybe 4 laps in a tryout, I decided I will never be swimming ever again, and I now have a huge amount of respect for swimmers.
During the summer, I will be training everyday to try to play division 1 soccer, and studying for the ACT to perfect my score. I hope to go to the pool more and hang out with friends more. We are taking a family vacation out west then I am going to Italy for a soccer showcase overseas.
Senior year I am only taking four classes, so I hope to get straight A's. And the goal is to win a state championship with Henry Clay Soccer.
