Aaron Moseley- Assignment 1

My name is Aaron. I'm 16 years old and live with my parents, my sister, and my dog. I'm a part of the drumline in the marching band and I participate in KUNA in the spring. I also enjoy computer coding and software development, which I am hoping to major in during college.
This year, my personal goals are to place in the top 4 in marching band at KMEA finals and to apply to and visit a few colleges. I also hope to continue to receive straight A's, get good scores on the PSAT, ACT, and SAT, and get a 4 or a 5 on each of my AP tests in May.
For my summer vacation, me and my family went to Aruba. The most meaningful part of that trip was seeing the poorer parts of the island. Before I went there, I thought that the whole place would just be filled with resorts. But, once we landed there, I saw that other than about a dozen resorts, the whole island looked extremely impoverished. It really opened my eyes to some of the struggles of people living in poverty.
If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to control time. This would allow me to slow it down, speed it up, stop it, or reverse it. I feel like it would just be fun to use and would give me more time to do homework.
My favorite website would be theonion.com. I really like this "news source" because of its witty satire and ability to make light of some of the most distressing current events.
