Hey, I’m Oliver. I’m the short one with curly hair and glasses that sits between Eli and Charlie in the back in first period. I’d say I’m mild class clown with a dry sense of humor that uses big words to sound smart. My favorite classes are english and social studies classes, so I’m looking forward to this class in particular and what it offers. I hope this class will help me improve my writing and language skills, as english is a field I’d like to pursue in college. I also hope that I can keep up with all my other classes this year; everyone says junior year is rough…
(On a side note, I despise nearly all YA/dystopian novels. I aspire to one day write a YA book that fits the genre without assuming the genre's terrible, cringe-worthy tropes.)
I live in Lexington with my dad, stepmom, and two stepbrothers and in Sadieville with my mom, stepdad, and four dogs. At both houses, I haul around a little brother, Max, who somehow managed to survive up to his freshman year at Henry Clay despite my best efforts.

This summer, I went to San Diego to see my aunt, uncle and younger cousins. It was a great time: the city is beautiful, the baseball games were great, and we went to SeaWorld, which was just incredible.
My ideal superpower would be telekinesis, to move, manipulate, crush, etc. objects with my mind. It has such a variety of uses - you can use it to fight or simply move things for your convenience. Of course, it has the potential to make one corrupt or even lazy if used incorrectly. I’d need to be given something useful to do with the power if I were to have it at all.
What geeks me out? I’m a huge fan of tons of series of tv shows, movies and games. Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Pokemon… I know all the characters, the lore, the mechanics, and do my best to keep up with the community. I like lots of other series as well, but I could talk about those three all day.
