Abby Hardin Assignment 1

 My name is Katherine Hardin, but I prefer to go by Abby. I participate in many activities at Henry Clay, like play lacrosse, do speech and debate, and help with student council. When I get out of high school I hope to go to college for neuroscience, but while I'm still in school my goal is to focus on procrastinating less and getting good grades while maintaining a social life.
Over the summer, I went to my ninth year of camp. I absolutely love camp, it's one of my favorite parts of every summer. I was a counselor for the third time this year. At camp, there's so many interesting people and so many things to do. One of my favorite activities is the high ropes course, where you get to climb rock walls and zip line. I am partial to that, however, because I help teach it. Other than that, I really love the hiking and swimming, pretty much anything outdoors. Even though these things were fun, the absolute best part of camp is the people. I love the friends I make and the kids I get to impact while we're there.
If I could have any superpower, I would probably choose flight. Not only could I use flying in practical situations, like getting out of traffic, but I would use it to travel. With the power of flight, you can travel anywhere in the world whenever you want, without nearly as many fees. I would be able to experience any view I wanted on a journey and do so many things along the way. Overall, flight is definitely the coolest superpower (in my opinion).
I get geeked out by music. I love so many genres and I'm always looking for new music to listen to. One of the ways I find it is the Instagram tag #musicrecommendation
