To be completely honest, I haven't read much in the past twelve months. It's not because I dislike reading or anything along those lines, I just haven't had the time to read. Anyways, here's a list of the books I did find the time to read:
The Ugly American (written by Eugene Burdick and William J. Lederer) - I actually had to read this last year for the elective I was taking, but I surprisingly really enjoyed it. It was about American diplomacy in foreign countries, something that sounds kind of boring, but was very eye-opening.
The Great Gatsby (written by F. Scott Fitzgerald) - Again, I had to read this for school, as most of us did, but I really enjoyed it. I've always been kind of a sucker for romance novels, and this was one, to an extent.
To All the Boys I've Ever Loved Before (written by Jenny Han) - The movie version of this came out on Netflix a few weeks ago, and I had no clue it was a book. After I found out it was a book, I decided to read it, because, again, I like romance novels. It was also a teen fiction novel, which I enjoy. When it comes to books and novels, I'm a very stereotypical teenage girl.
I'm sure I read one or two more throughout the past year that I'm just forgetting, but these three books pretty much sum up my interests when it comes to reading: government, romance, and teen fiction.
