Zombies. The tried and true horror characters. I personally believe that a zombie apocalypse isn't possible, but it's always good to be prepared.
The first thing I would do is figure out where my family is and meet them in a predetermined location. With the technology available, we would most likely already know where the outbreak began, so we would try to get as far away from there as possible. Hopefully we would be able to go to a different country or continent, that way we could be safe for a longer period of time. We would need basic survival items such as food and water, and also first aid items and things like rope and matches. We would also have to get weapons somehow, either by buying them or buy making them ourselves (maybe something like the bat with nails from Stranger Things. I'm not to familiar with zombie-weaponry). Finally, I would have to prepare myself mentally for the possibility that either I or a family member or friend could become a zombie or get killed.
My plan is obviously not super well thought out, and there are some definite flaws, but as I said earlier I'm not too worried.
