Assignment 15: Charlie Boone

There are a lot of stories, movies, and television shows that really "Geek me out." I love a good story, especially when good stories are incorporated into movies. For instance, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows implements the story of The Three Brothers so well. The premise is that three brothers cross a river that should have killed them by using magic. Death, feeling cheated, "rewards" them with three all powerful items. Each brother chooses a different item. One of them chooses the elder wand, the most powerful wand ever, one chooses an invisibility cloak, and one chooses a resurrection stone. All three of these items are a major part of the plot in Harry Potter Deathly Hallows, and serve to create a great movie. As far as television shows go, Ancient Aliens always fascinates me. The episodes question the construction of the pyramids, easter island, and other ancient constructions. They ask the question, "How could people with no modern technology create these feats of engineering without extraterrestrial help?" This question really "geeks me out" and makes me think that there really are aliens.
