Throughout my life, I have been given countless pieces of advice. Some of this advice I simply do not listen to, some I do listen to, and some I do not listen to even though I should. A wise piece of advice said to me by my friend and trainer was to, "Bloom where you are planted." This took a minute to really sink in, but I finally understood what it meant. Just as flowers bloom in the ground, we should "bloom" in whatever job we are forced to do or choose to do. For instance, I have to go to school every morning. I do not have a choice. Society has planted me in school. But while I am in school, I might as well try and do my best and make the most out of the opportunities presented before me. This piece of advice was a profound message to me, and I hope to apply it to my life.
