Aaron Moseley Assignment 22
Throughout my entire life, music has been a huge part of what I do. From the time I was born, my dad was showing me different instruments he owned throughout the house, like saxophones, guitars, keyboards, even drum pads. He had also played music in middle school, high school, and college. I was basically forced into music from an early age and I think that that has made me a more diverse and well-rounded person. Even discounting benefits derived specifically from playing music, it has allowed me to explore more areas of interest outside of just math and science, which I am also interested in. I also believe that my college applications will benefit from this. From what I have seen of colleges, they are always looking for well-rounded people that don't only have one interest. They don't want one-dimensional people in their schools, and my interest in both music and math will appeal directly to their desire.
