Assignment 22 - Tommy Svetich

From a young age, I have had to learn large responsibilities and dealing with particular issues throughout. My mom has MS, Mulitple Sclerosis, which often caused fatigue and drowsiness when experimenting with medicines. Due to this, I became responsible for myself and even my mother. When she wasn't feeling up to it, my sister and I had to cook for ourselves, do laundry, and do chores around the house. This may not seem as that unusual of a circumstance, but it has much to do with my personality today. And is even helping with a current unusual circumstance that caused my mother and sister to be gone for a couple months. This left my dad and me at home alone, while my dad is responsible for himself, I am responsible for myself. He works many hours a day, leaving early and coming home late, making me responsible for house choirs and daily life.
This would make college good for me since I will already know how to essentially live on my own. Therefore I can get responsibilities completed once in college.
