One commonly known cliche that all seniors recite to underclassmen is "junior and senior year will go by really fast!" Dang. They weren't kidding. As I approach the end of my junior year in high school, the last year where grades actually matter, I find myself stressing over a plethora of topics like colleges, scholarships, my job, etc. As a result, I find myself breaking down more frequently than other years. And as a result, I find myself giving up. But I'm optimistic. Although it's pretty much the end of the school year, I understand that now is the worst time to be giving up. I just have to push through for the last few weeks of school and then it's finally summer. And after summer, I can look forward to my last year in high school.
In senior year, I hope to receive an admirable rank and play my part in JROTC. And similarly, I hope to earn an ROTC scholarship for college. But to do so, I must be attentive to my workload, and manage my time better so I have a better chance at acquiring that scholarship.
