Assignment 2 - Michael North
Of the books I've read over the summer and past year, which really hasn't been a lot, the one that's stood out to me the most has definitely been The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, it was really an interesting read for me, and, although it may not represent me that well, it is a really good book that I'm glad i decided to sit down and take the time to read. My favorite book however that I've read in the past year is hands down Be More Chill by Ned Vizzini, It's one that much more closely relates to me, and It's honestly one of, if not my favorite book I've read ever. I don't think I've started a book that i straight up didn't finish in a while, the next closest thing was when i read 1984 by George Orwell, after a few chapters i got bored and put it down, but picked it back up a month or two later and i definitely didn't regret it.
