I love to travel. I always have, and I hope I always will. Ever since I was a child, my mother, brother and I would go on vacations during the summer breaks. We never went to a beach, which at the time I loathed because I never got to relate to the basic stories from the beach that all of my friends had. But now, I appreciate these experiences more than anything. I've never been outside of the United States, but I have been all over the country. We frequently visited the New England region, where I now hope to attend college and spend the rest of my life. We have also visited the West, spending two weeks of our summer exploring the national parks. I have also been to other places through class trips and mission trips with my church. Even within Kentucky, even Lexington, I love finding new places to go and new experiences.
I believe my ability to travel earlier in life and exposing me to different cultures early in life has shaped me into the person I am today. I love meeting new people, new cultures, new ideas, and viewing things from a different perspective.
