Assignment 4- Abby Hardin
Throughout my life, my family has had very conflicting view. On everything. Politics? Polar opposites. Social issues? No middle ground. Even family relations? Very few agreements. In this environment of consistent disagreement, have always had to make my own informed decisions and be very independent in my beliefs. I am usually the middle-man in my family, and attempt to see everyone's viewpoints and have a discussion about the issue. I consistently challenge the political views of my father and his family, for example, and aim to have conversations about the topics to have an open mind about things. And that's okay. While I'm one of the biggest peace makers I know, I also think it's important for everyone to have their own opinions and not take everything at face value.
