The first thing that I would tell my roommate is that I can come off shy when you first meet me. I eventually start to become more loud and outspoken, but most of the time if I am meeting a large amount of people for the first time I can come across as shy or a little stand-offish. I eventually start to open up and start to engage in conversations more.
I would also probably talk to them about my habits such as listening to music when I am working, staying up late most nights, how early I wake up, that sort of thing. I would want them to know what I do every day so that we can end up living together without any major problems. I would also want them to do the same for me, that way if there is a conflict in schedules we can easily work through them and find a compromise that works for both of us.
