Junior year, huh? Almost over? Seems absurd. Well, let's get down to it.
This year, I rediscovered my old love for paleontology and evolutionary study have begun to consider it my main passion in life, and more than likely the core of my likely future career. I also started thinking about college and am considering WKU as my main option.
This year, I made a couple new friends and began to reconnect with some old ones.
This year, I began to to question the nature of the universe and religion. I came to the conclusion that we cannot know for sure whether or not there is anything immaterial, and the best we can do is to live our one life as best we can, no matter if anything lies beyond.
This year, I took a risk and tried to rekindle an old relationship after it failed last year. Those who know me well know who I'm talking about, but I won't give her name here. It failed again, predictably, despite our best efforts, but we're better off now than before the second go-around and tied up some loose ends. I have very few regrets.
This year, I went to my first school dance. It felt like I was in a movie. 10/10, would homecoming again.
This year, I started to play Minecraft more. This is last, and certainly least.
This summer is going to be busy as hell. I'm going to Hilton Head, San Diego, Montana for a dinosaur dig, among other places. I plan to continue working odd jobs around my neighborhood, and might get my own car. I would also like to start reading books more.
It's been a hell of a ride, I guess. Senior year will probably be even crazier.
